As Rand Worldwide launches it’s new cloud initiative, RandSA, Grove agency approached 1/29 to produce this brand-defining web spot, bravely announcing to the universe, “Hey, we be in the cloud bidness!”
1/29 wrote, produced, and directed this full motion graphics broadcast spot that turns the typical, collegiate commercial on its head.
With only a few days notice until the big day, 1/29 was called upon to produce integrated, experiential motion content, for the social gaming giant’s highly anticipated press event, in which they unveiled an impressive list of new offerings. Exhibited on a giant, immersive wall display, this piece reflects just how far Zynga has connected with its users.

As a non-profit trade association advancing the global interests of IT professionals and companies, they focus their programs on four main areas: education, certification, advocacy and philanthropy. 1/29 Films focused our attention on a nice, little, global-unifying web spot, especially for them.

Here’s the scenario: 129 Films received an urgent call from CP+B, the esteemed agency representing clothing retailer, Old Navy, on Tuesday evening before Memorial Day Weekend: they need a :45 second animated web spot completed in 6 business days! It would support the release of their new :30 broadcast spot for Old Navy’s Youtube channel. 1/29 concepted, designed, animated, edited & mixed audio…and delivered in time for the national premiere. Phew!
BzzAgent is a social marketing company that accelerates word-of-mouth to drive sales, running more than 1,500 programs for global companies including Unilever, Wrigley, L’Oreal, and Michelin. 1/29 was called upon to shift the perspective of social networking trends back to their influential advocate network of more than 800,000 “BzzAgents.” It’s through real person-to-person use cases (and taking advantage of the revolution in social media) that makes BzzAgent so effective.
Establishing a brand identity is always a challenge. Targeting two separate audiences in the same spot can be daunting. 1/29 accomplished both of these tasks in collaboration with the good folks at Gigwalk. Not only does this spot explain what Gigwalk is – a very cool app that allows people (Gigwalkers) to make money by simply taking photos with their mobile phone – but it also speaks to Gigwalk’s Fortune 500 clients, demonstrating the POWER of information that Gigwalk represents. With features on CNNMoney and CNBC, we’re happy to say it’s been a big success.
We’re proud to introduce Ted – IT Honcho! He understands that a “good enough” web security solution isn’t the answer. Ted needs the power of Next Generation Web Security. So Ted chooses McAfee. A simple, proactive solution deserved a simple creative approach. However, looks can be deceiving…that’s part of the beauty. The “traceback” style used here is quite laborious, however, it provided the kinetic energy we were looking for. We up’ed it a notch in this spot by integrating our characters with photographic backgrounds and a good amount of compositing.
The Go Game App is the first location-based game app to fully integrate video into the core of gameplay. It’s about real-world fun with your real live friends. The Go Game’s missions result in the kind of hilarious pictures and videos with friends that anyone would want to share through Facebook Connect. Our client, The Go Game, wanted stop-motion…so we gave ‘em stop-motion!
Ask Around is an iPhone app that uses your location to immediately place you into a chat room with others around you – on metro, at the ballgame, or just walking around the city. With a rush to make SxSW and a TechCrunch feature deadline, we produced this spot for our friends at Ask.com in 5 days!
The challenge was to define EN’s new offering – Ridgeline Service Advisor. Make it relevant and accessible on EN’s website as well as play independently at trade shows like the 2010 Ethernet Expo and Telco TV 2010.
RunMyProcess strives to change the way business applications are built and delivered by providing a cloud-based environment that is able to meet business imperatives for quick delivery and flexibility. The challenge, however, was how to convey this Paris-based company’s mission statement to their targeted demographic. Hmmmm…that’s easy. They came to 1/29: Mission accomplished…Twice! (In both English and French…)

Founded in 1925, and with a membership totaling 2 million, M-Connect offers customers a single stop where they can login to all the stores and services within the Migros family. Produced in French, Italian and German, Migros’ new offering has been a tremendous success!

With such keynote speakers as Bill Clinton, Condoleeza Rice, Annie Lennox and Ashley Judd, this piece premiered at the GBC Conference in June, 2010. The idea was to demonstrate how easy it is – with just a few clicks – for companies and employees to save lives while getting business done.
1/29 produced this video to coincide with a keynote address at the 2010 Women Deliver Conference in Washington D.C. Our focus here is to raise awareness concerning the alarming mortality rates, related to pregnancy and childbirth, in developing countries.

Kingston wanted to brand their new product with a splashy conceptual piece – “urDrive Space” – and a follow-up features piece – “urDrive Mariachi.” Embedded on all of their urDrive products and promoted on a variety of Kingston and re-seller websites, they’ve been translated into 12 languages for Kingston’s worldwide audience.
Surphace, a subsidiary of AOL, unveiled a fantastic new web publishing service called “s4″ and needed a web spot that would capture the scope of it’s features for the website launch.
Our client created an awesome open ad management platform for iPhone developers, but they didn’t have a website built yet, so we concepted a style of animation that wouldn’t conflict with their eventual design template. They used this piece front and center in their marketing campaign, generating a lot of buzz on the blog, TechCrunch.
